The Honorary Doctorate recognizes individuals whose leadership, integrity, and contributions have transformed communities, industries, and nations.

Who Can Be Nominated

– Global leaders, innovators, and changemakers across all sectors: business, governance, education, philanthropy, arts, science, and technology.

– Individuals or institutional leaders with a demonstrated record of excellence over at least 10 years.
– Persons who have made tangible contributions to societal advancement locally, nationally, or internationally.

– Self-nominations are allowed, provided the nominee acknowledges understanding of the Honours Committee’s review process.

Nomination Criteria

All nominations must be submitted by April 22nd, 2026. Euro Knowledge Institute reserves the right to close nominations early. All submissions are confidential.

Leadership & Impact

- Demonstrated visionary leadership and the ability to influence positive change.
- Sustained measurable impact on communities, industries, or nations.
- Record of ethical decision-making, integrity, and responsible leadership.

Contributions to Society

- Tangible contributions in education, health, youth development, social justice, or poverty alleviation.
- Initiatives that empower communities and promote sustainable development.
- Philanthropic programs or interventions that have positively impacted lives at scale.

Global or Regional Influence

- Work that transcends local boundaries—recognized nationally, regionally, or internationally.
- Evidence of collaboration, partnership, or influence in international initiatives is highly valued.

Personal Integrity and Reputation

- High moral and ethical standards.
- Positive public reputation, free from controversies that compromise credibility.
- Commitment to values aligned with Euro Knowledge Institute's mission.

Academic or Professional Background (Optional but Recommended

- Relevant academic degrees, professional certifications, or recognized expertise.
- Practical application of knowledge that has benefited society or industries.

Nomination Submission Requirements

All nominations must include:

Nominee’s full profile and biography
Evidence of leadership, societal impact, and achievements
Supporting documents, such as letters of reference, media coverage, awards, or publications
For self-nominations: a written acknowledgment of understanding the Honours Committee’s review and evaluation process.

Selection Process

– Nominations will be reviewed by the EuroKnowledge Institute Honours Committee, in partnership with Richmond College UK.
– Selection is based on leadership and influence, ethical standards and personal integrity, societal impact and contributions, longevity and consistency of achievements, and alignment with EuroKnowledge Institute’s vision and mission.
– The committee reserves the right to verify submitted information and request additional documentation.
